Girls basketball at Odin on December 2: There will be 2 quarters of JV followed by the Varsity game.
Girls basketball vs New Horizon on December 3: There will be 2 quarters of JV followed by the Varsity game.
Boys basketball at Selmaville on December 3: No changes and JV game starts at 6:00
Boys basketball at Waltonville on December 5: The game will be played at Waltonville High School
Girls basketball vs Sandoval on December 6: There will only be a varsity game

The Junior High Food drive starts this week! Check out the list below for items to bring! Don't forget-The lunch group that brings in the most items will win a movie and popcorn party!!

Pee Wee basketball, pee wee cheerleading, and 5th grade basketball will be starting soon.
Sports physicals are required for all students wishing to participate in these sports. Information will be going out this week about upcoming practices.

We are gearing up for our Annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Program! Forms went home for our Veterans Day wall. Please make sure to bring back your Veterans Hero Form back so that we can make sure to honor all of our Veterans!
The Veterans Day Breakfast will be Friday, November 8th at 7:45 a.m. with the program starting at 8:40 a.m.
This year we are adding some Patriotic Spirit Days during the week of November 4th!
Parents will need to come to the cafeteria doors to pick up Cheer Clinic participants at 5:00 tonight!
Don't Forget! There is NO SCHOOL this Friday, October 25th due to the Mt. Vernon Teacher's Conference!

As the weather begins to change, we wanted to remind everyone that the students will be going outside for recess as long as it is not raining and the temperature is above freezing! Please make sure that your children have the appropriate attire for being outside!
The Regional Cross Country meet is TONIGHT at the Mt. Vernon Airport. The meet begins at 5:00 p.m.

A dental exam is required for students currently in Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades. The Dental Safari staff will be at Rome on November 7th. The Dental Safari Program is open to all students. If you would like your child to have the dental exam they provide, please complete the Dental Consent Form and return to the school by November 1st. Thank you.
Congratulations to the 2024 Rome Regional Team who will be competing at the MTV Airport on Wednesday, October 9 at 5:00 PM! Please come out and support your Hornets Cross Country Team!
