The Regional Cross Country meet is TONIGHT at the Mt. Vernon Airport. The meet begins at 5:00 p.m.

A dental exam is required for students currently in Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades. The Dental Safari staff will be at Rome on November 7th. The Dental Safari Program is open to all students. If you would like your child to have the dental exam they provide, please complete the Dental Consent Form and return to the school by November 1st. Thank you.

Coach Peterson would like to remind the girls that basketball practice begins on Monday, October 7 from 5:00-6:30.
The Rome Cheer Clinic for grades PreK-4 will be here soon! Forms need to be returned with payment by Thursday, October 10th.
Scholar Bowl Tryouts for grades 6-8 will be held October 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th! Students will need to eat lunch then head to Ms. Rexing's classroom!

The Book Fair will be open from 8:30-11:30 each day and special evening hours during Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday evening AND Friday morning!

Reminder, the pee wee interest forms that were sent home last week to students in grades 3-5 are due by Friday, September 20
Picture Day is next Wednesday, September 18th. We will be taking yearbook portraits, class group pictures, cross country, baseball, and softball!

As we start the new school year, I want to remind everyone of the importance of safety in our parking lot during drop-off times.
Please do not pass other vehicles in the parking lot while dropping off your children in the morning. This rule is in place to ensure the safety of all our students, staff, and families. It is crucial that everyone enters the school safely.

Students will be dismissed today, August 30, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause. All activities that are scheduled for after school are cancelled also.
We are having difficulty with some of our air-conditioning in the school building. Classroom temperatures will be assessed again at approximately 10:00 a.m. and if deemed necessary, students may be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. today. Another message will be sent shortly after 10:00 a.m. We apologize for the inconvenience.
