Sorry for the late notice: Cross country conditioning is cancelled today,July 21st, due to the rain. Wednesday has also been cancelled. Conditioning will resume on Friday the 25th. Athletes are encouraged to run on their own this week. Email Coach Wilson with any questions.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department responded to an incident near Dix this afternoon. As a precautionary measure, Rome Grade School was placed on lockdown. At no time was there a direct threat to the school or its students, and the lockdown was implemented out of an abundance of caution. The safety of students and staff remains our top priority.

Reminder! The Washington D.C. trip meeting for current 6th and 7th grade families is tonight in the library at 6 p.m.

A letter went out to girls interested in softball for next school year. There was an error on that note about one of the times. Here is the softball schedule for open fields and tryouts:

Rome CCSD2 will be dismissing students at 2:30 p.m. today, May 16, 2025. All after school activities are canceled.
